In business since 1976 but under new ownership, we are rapidly moving the company forward. Currently we build products for the defense, automotive, medical, commercial equipment, and specialty vehicle industries.
OPEN: Manufacturer's Sales Representative
DECA Manufacturing has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Sales Representative.
DECA is an established company with new leadership which is actively pursuing growth. We are looking for a sales professional to prospect, develop new business and service existing business within a geographic territory that includes OH, PA, NY, IN, MI, KY, and IL, as we continue to broaden our reach in the Midwest.
Tactical responsibilities include:
Qualifying leads to closing sales with existing customers and new prospects
Responsible for achieving revenue objectives as established
Manage current accounts and attract prospective customers based on corporate and individual lead generation activities
Foster and develop sales channels with partners including distributors and manufacturers representatives
Development and management of territory forecasts and sales reports
Participate in web-based meetings, company trade shows and other strategic marketing initiatives
Collaborate on leads and attend periodic sales meetings to discuss deals in progress and future opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have:

possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills
a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.
This is a 1099 position. Compensation is commission-based.
