Position Summary

We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team.  The Inside Sales Representative will have direct responsibility for driving the progress of DECA’s sales and growth objectives. This high-impact role will report directly to the President and will be based out of our Lexington, Ohio facility.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Prospect Development

  • Develop new sales opportunities via direct selling activities.

  • Respond to inbound leads and referrals to drive prospects toward closure.

  • Collaborate with our network of outside reps to close opportunities.

• Marketing Support

  • Identify new customer prospects based on agreed upon target markets.

  • Help shape marketing campaigns, marketing collateral and social media presence by providing customer insight to upstream marketing personnel.

• Sales Support

  • Manage customer and information and deal progress through effective use of DECA’s CRM system (Hubspot)

  • Coordinate customer meetings and sales presentations, bringing in management and outside sales as needed.

  • Work with estimator and customers to obtain information required to deliver timely quotations.

 

Experience and Education Required

• 2+ years sales experience with demonstrated success meeting growth targets in a product or manufacturing based industry

• Proficiency using MS Office

• Strong written and verbal skills

• Traits of a successful candidate include: Self-starter, tenacity, and a positive attitude.

 

Travel

• up to 10% or as needed

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record

Compensation

Pay range dependent on experience. Opportunity for advancement available as the company grows.
