Manufacturer's Sales Representative

DECA Manufacturing has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Sales Representative.


DECA is an established company with new leadership which is actively pursuing growth.  We are looking for a sales professional to prospect, develop new business and service existing business within a geographic territory that  includes OH, PA, NY, IN, MI, KY, and IL, as we continue to broaden our reach in the Midwest.


 Tactical responsibilities

  • Qualifying leads to closing sales with existing customers and new prospects

  • Responsible for achieving revenue objectives as established

  • Manage current accounts and attract prospective customers based on corporate and individual lead generation activities

  • Foster and develop sales channels with partners including distributors and manufacturers representatives

  • Development and management of territory forecasts and sales reports

  • Participate in web-based meetings, company trade shows and other strategic marketing initiatives

  • Collaborate on leads and attend periodic sales meetings to discuss deals in progress and future opportunities.  


The ideal candidate will have:


  • self-starter with a positive attitude

  • be enthusiastic about manufacturing

  • possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills

  • a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.



This is a 1099 position.  Compensation is commission-based.
